• They say curiosity is what ended the cat after their nine lives. However, I don't know if I agree with that. If cats didn't have their curiosity, would they even truly be cats? I love the adorable little quizzical motions they do. “Oh, what would happen if I swat this full glass of water off of the table?” CRASH “Purrrrrrry interesting.” “Hmmm, can I make the jump from this bookshelf to the couch across the room?” LEAPS “Nope, but I still always land on my feet.” Meanwhile, us humans just get to watch all of these adorable calculations, and then actions go into effect? Like their giant research assistant! It's an honor, really.

• If cats were a type of candy, they would be Sour Patch Kids. Why? Because first they're sour, and then they're sweet. Or vice versa, but they definitely make sure you get to see their dichotomy. Most cats don't want cuddles 24-7. They want them when they ask and ONLY when they ask. And if you try to cuddle them when they didn't ask, watch out for the kitten claws. And they reserve the right to change their mind about those cuddles whenever they want. You could be asked for cuddles, then five minutes in, you still get the hiss and scratch. But those five minutes were totally worth it!

• If only we could send memes to our cats and be like, “lol that is so you.” That would truly make the meme collecting so much better. However, we still love to fill up the DMs of our fellow friends of felines. We most definitely have shared cat experiences. And we can laugh together at the fact that your cat woke you up by coughing up a hairball at your feet. It was like a little present! Or how about when they brought a half-alive bird into the house and then it flew all over the house in a panic before you got it out of the open door? What a way to keep your life interesting!
